The ALA Girls Nation Staff is excited to get ready for the
2015 ALA Girls Nation Session!
Can you believe that in just 2 short days Senators from
across the country will be embarking on the newest chapter in the ALA Girls
Nation book? It’s a beautiful day to start the day here at the National 4H
Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD and the Girls Nation staff is quickly
getting to work to prepare for the 2015 American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation
program.
The government staff, office staff, and public relations
team, Junior Counselors, and Senior Counselors traveled to Maryland from 15
states from throughout the country to prepare for this busy and awarding
experience. Our hallway of offices are
buzzing with activity as the team works together to print voter placards,
prepare press releases, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare for the
arrival of the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation Senators!
The sunny forecast for the week mirrors our excitement, as
we can’t wait to meet the 2015 ALA Girls Nation Senators and get our week of
learning and fun underway!
